About the Role
We are hiring CDL Class A drivers for a local position out of our Ypsilanti, Michigan terminal. Ypsilanti sits on I-94 between Detroit and Ann Arbor - a steady and active freight market with consistent local lanes running through Washtenaw County and the greater southeast Michigan corridor. Run your assigned routes every day and be home every single night without exception. No OTR, no overnight stays, no surprises. No prior trucking experience required - full paid training from day one.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual earnings between $72,800 and $78,000
- Average weekly pay: $1,400 – $1,500
- Average weekly mileage: 2,000 – 2,500 miles
- CPM Rate: $0.58 – $0.70

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Class A commercial vehicle on local routes out of Ypsilanti, MI
- Pick up and deliver freight on time according to assigned schedule
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections every shift
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and all required documentation
- Follow all DOT safety regulations and company policies on every run
- Communicate with dispatch throughout your shift on any delays or changes
Requirements
- Experience Level: Trainees and Experienced Drivers welcome
- Special Equipment: Dry Van
- Endorsements: None required
- Shifts: Day and night shifts available
- Valid CDL Class A license - current and active
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Clean driving record - no major violations
- No SAP history | No DUI offenses
- Must reside within 50 miles of Ypsilanti, MI
