Summary
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Aspire Home Healthcare. This role will focus on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to patients, particularly in pediatric settings, ensuring effective communication and swallowing abilities are developed and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for improvement.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy.
- Excellent patient assessment skills and ability to develop tailored treatment plans.
