ARI-HETRA is seeking a high-impact, technically versatile Technical Sales Specialist & Installer to join our team in Sharonville. This is a unique, hybrid role designed for a "hands-on" technical leader who can masterfully bridge the gap between technical sales, design layouts, and large-scale field installations.
As the primary technical authority for our installed product lines, you will lead projects through their entire lifecycle—from generating the first CAD layout to conducting the final quality inspection at the customer's facility.
What You Will Do
- Design & Quoting Support: Leverage Autodesk Fusion (or other 3D CAD software) to create precise facility layouts and system designs. You will work directly with our sales team, customers, architects, and engineers to clearly communicate our solutions.
- Field Installation & Leadership: Lead the technical execution of installations on-site. You will act as the "firm but fair" authority coordinating with crews and subcontractors, handling everything from reviewing blueprints to hands-on mechanical assembly, unloading flatbeds, and operating telehandler forklifts.
- Product & Lifecycle Management: Manage the sustaining engineering of current products. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing and purchasing to troubleshoot part issues, manage vendor follow-ups, conduct supplier audits, and maintain bills of materials (BOMs).
- Sales Partnership: Serve as the advanced technical backbone for our field sales team, reviewing building surveys (checking voltage, structural supports) and providing the deep product training necessary to close complex deals.
What We Are Looking For
- The Right Blend of Experience: We value practical mastery. You should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Manufacturing, or Industrial Technology OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and 5+ years of practical design and field installation experience.
- CAD Proficiency: You must be a competent, confident user of Autodesk Fusion or a similar 3D CAD program for modeling, assembly, and layout generation.
- Practical Technical Knowledge: Deep, working familiarity with workshop electrical, electro-mechanical systems, and concrete/rigging trades. You must be highly literate in reading blueprints, engineered plans, and IRC codes.
- Road Warrior Mentality: You enjoy a mix of office work and field execution. This role requires up to 50% travel to national project sites, client facilities, and occasional international supplier meetings.
- Professionalism & Physical Capability: A calm, organized demeanor when managing contractors. Must be comfortable performing physical labor on-site, including occasionally lifting tools and equipment up to 85 lbs.
