Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Laundry Aide plays an important role in supporting a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Responsibilities for Laundry Aide:
Collect resident laundry from rooms in a timely and respectful manner.
Wash, dry, and properly care for resident clothing and facility linens according to established procedures.
Fold, sort, and return clean laundry to residents, ensuring items are delivered accurately and neatly.
Maintain organized laundry areas and ensure equipment is used safely and properly.
Assist with non-clinical support tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.
Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
Report any issues with damaged or missing items to the appropriate staff.
Qualifications for Laundry Aide:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience as a Laundry Aide or in a housekeeping role preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a team environment.
