Summary
We are seeking dedicated General Kitchen Team Members to join our vibrant team at BonChon. The General Kitchen Staff supports daily kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, food execution, and maintaining cleanliness, while following company standards and food safety guidelines. In this role, you will contribute to preparing and serving our signature fried chicken and other menu items, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Execute food orders accurately according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and assemble menu items following proper cooking procedures and timing
- Maintain consistency in food quality and speed of service
- Keep kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times
- Support line cooks and kitchen managers during peak service hours
- Dispose of trash and manage waste properly
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks within the kitchen.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Basic knife skills are a plus.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus.
