Notes from the Manager - The manager is looking for someone who is out of school with great experience, someone who is detail oriented, good with numbers/finance experience. Someone who is has recently worked with DSP - YouTube, Spotify etc. The manager is willing to look at profiles from the entertainment area as well. Someone who has music publishing business experience, dealt with royalty.
Interview Process - 1 round and the manager will be sharing an excel test with the candidate separately. Excellent communication skills.

The Music Publishing team here at Client is looking for a royalty payment specialist who will review invoices, calculate and propose royalty payments, and enter and maintain data in internal systems.
Experience
+ Accounting and/or finance experience with payment processing in a corporate environment
+ SAP or other enterprise application software systems user experience
+ Database data entry experience
+ Music publishing royalty payment experience is a strong plus
Duties
+ Bundle and propose for payment music publishing invoices for iTunes and Client Music.
+ Investigate variance
+ Resolve or escalate validation errors
+ Perform user acceptance testing in all related systems
+ Account reconciliation
+ Answer external partner invoice related queries
+ Provide email support for Client's self-service portal for external partners
Skills
+ Accuracy and rigorous attention to detail; able to follow defined processes.
+ Confidence and consistency with payment related calculations.
+ Good judgement in deciding when to escalate ambiguous cases.
+ Exceptional organizational skills.
+ Excellent habits of self-review to insure consistent, error-free work.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
