Overview:
Do you enjoy staying busy and working in a fast-paced environment with a great team? We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Material Handler for our Broussard, LA location.
Job Responsibilities:

Complete basic warehouse and material handling tasks with attention to detail

Move inventory and equipment throughout the warehouse

Fill customer orders and pull materials from racks
-
Load and unload incoming materials, trucks, and customer vehicles
-
Receive and place returned items into inventory locations
-
Pull and assemble orders using shipping documents and work orders
-
Tag materials for proper identification and complete required documentation
-
Operate forklifts, side loaders, cranes, and yard trucks safely
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
-
Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, or product code
-
Conduct spot inventory checks and verify proper material tagging
-
Report inventory or operational irregularities to supervisors
-
Restock materials as needed
-
Follow all company safety and quality standards
Skills and Experience:
- 1–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
-
1–2 years of sit-down forklift experience required
-
High School Diploma or GED preferred
-
Valid driver’s license required
-
Ability to obtain certification for motorized material handling and rigging equipment
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to read and follow written instructions
-
Basic math and measurement skills required, including decimals and fractions

Strong time management and multitasking abilities
-
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
-
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with supervisors and coworkers

Manual dexterity and physical coordination required
