Job Overview – Construction Crew Lead
We’re looking for a motivated, skilled, and highly reliable Construction Crew Lead to oversee and participate in a variety of general contracting projects. The ideal candidate has experience in tile work, drywall, flooring, framing, and other construction trades. You’ll be responsible for leading small crews, ensuring quality workmanship, and keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
Starting pay is $25 per hour, with clear opportunities for growth and higher pay for the right person based on performance, leadership, and consistency. We work hard but maintain a friendly, easy-going environment and value honesty, teamwork, accountability, and respect.
Applicants must speak English, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a crew on residential and light commercial construction projects.
- Plan and delegate daily tasks to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Perform skilled construction work, including tile, drywall, flooring, and general carpentry.
- Inspect ongoing work and finished projects for quality and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and management about job progress and needs.
- Maintain equipment and materials, ensuring the job site stays clean and organized.
- Uphold safety standards and model best practices for team members.
- Assist in training and mentoring less experienced crew members.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in general construction or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead a small team independently.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices.
- Reliability and punctuality are absolute musts—being on time and ready to work every day is critical.
- Demonstrates humility, coachability, and respect for others on and off the job site.
- Competence with a range of tools and materials.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
