Job Overview
The Rooms Division Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the seamless day-to-day operation of Lumiere's Concierge, Housekeeping, and Bell departments. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will set the tone for guest-facing service and behind-the-scenes execution, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our standard of refined, anticipatory hospitality. This is a hands-on role for a composed, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a luxury environment and leads by example.
Responsibilities
Concierge
- Oversee the Concierge team in delivering personalized, anticipatory service to hotel guests and residence owners
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local dining, entertainment, transportation, and lifestyle vendors
- Monitor guest requests, preferences, and special arrangements to ensure seamless follow-through
- Champion a culture of proactive service — identifying needs before they are expressed
Housekeeping
- Manage daily housekeeping operations across hotel rooms, suites, and private residences
- Maintain and uphold Lumiere's rigorous cleanliness and presentation standards
- Oversee scheduling, room assignments, and inventory of supplies and linens
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality consistency and address deficiencies promptly
- Perform detailed room checks across all room types and residences, ensuring presentation meets Lumiere’s Relais & Chateaux and Michelin Key standards prior to guest arrival and on an ongoing basis
Bell Services
- Lead the Bell team in delivering warm, efficient arrivals and departures for all guests and residents
- Oversee luggage handling, valet coordination, and lobby presence
- Ensure the team represents Lumiere with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail at every interaction
Leadership & Operations
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members across all three departments
- Foster a collaborative, high-morale team culture rooted in mutual respect and shared standards
- Track and analyze departmental KPIs including guest satisfaction scores, labor efficiency, and quality metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Front Desk, Engineering, and Food & Beverage leadership
- Support General Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the Rooms Division
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of progressive hotel management experience, with direct oversight of rooms-related departments
- Prior experience in a luxury, boutique, or condo hotel setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a calm, solutions-oriented presence
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS); familiarity with Webrezpro or similar platform a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
