Delivery Driver Basic Requirements
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be 21+ and must obtain a Class E driver’s license within 2 weeks of hire.
- Must be able to move boxes up to 50 - 75 lbs., without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to easily enter and exit out of the van, without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to deliver 25 stops per hour.
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle at all times.
- Use handheld device for routing information & customer delivery information.
- Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
- Load and unload packages to be delivered.
- Lift packages up to 75 lbs
- Ability to deliver minimum 25 stops per hour.
- Follows strict safety standards on and off the road.
- Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
- Deliver packages with care according to customer notes.
