Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operation of the café. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Train, motivate, and Support staff training initiatives to uphold service excellence, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Help maintain food quality, cleanliness, and health standards.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and daily opening/closing procedures.
- Solve problems with professionalism and a positive attitude. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
-Communicate with ownership to help improve operations and guest experiences.
-Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Duties
- Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal team performance
- Support staff training initiatives to uphold service excellence, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency in line with company recipes and standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with staffing schedules, interviewing candidates, and managing shift coverage to meet business demands
Requirements
- Proven experience with a strong background in food preparation (management experience preferred).
- Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred
- Has or is willing to get Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
