The position of IT Field Operations Technician will support the launch and day to day operation of the Micro Market business from a technical standpoint. This position will also support the sites that are live and in production. Reports statistics to IT management and Corporate office.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive and record equipment information.

Will work closely with clients and vendors
-
Negotiate network connections for all new accounts
-
Ensure all network connections are good in existing accounts
-
Responsible for maintaining cameras and DVR systems in all markets
-
Will complete service calls for all market locations
-
Maintaining parts inventory
-
Responsible for warranty credit of parts and returns
-
Collecting of video files for loss prevention
-
Support of handhelds devices used for inventory management
-
Performing surveys with management of new accounts for layout
-
Will also give support to Corporate IT infrastructure team (Will occasionally travel)

Monitoring the connectivity of active sites
Technical Skills required:

Networking knowledge

Ability to troubleshoot Network issues.

PC hardware troubleshooting skills
Requirements:

Certification in one or more of the following preferred; MCP, A+. or Network +

Proven ability to be self-managed, self-motivated ("thinking outside the box" and retain "lessons learned")

Project management skills

Excellent time management skills

Knowledge of vending business helpful

Customer service experience

Excellent communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Strong knowledge of MS office (Excel, word, PowerPoint, etc..)

Knowledge of cabling (Cat5 / 6, BNC, etc.)

Must be able to lift 35lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.

Must be able to consent to an initial drug screen

Must be able to consent to a background check

Work Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm; overtime will be required

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; weekend work may be required
