Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our 24/7 manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines, adhering to safety standards and quality protocols. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to maintaining high productivity levels while supporting continuous process improvements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and precision are paramount. 12 hour shifts, working only 15-16 days per month.
Duties
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, including power tools and heavy lifting techniques.
- Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure components meet specifications.
- Assemble products on the production line, following detailed work instructions and quality standards.
- Conduct manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and positioning materials or finished goods within the facility.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, including logs, reports, and process records for traceability.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and manufacturing standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly.
- Experience operating forklifts or warehouse equipment is a strong advantage; certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and commitment to safety protocol adherence.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents accurately.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to work effectively on assembly lines or in manufacturing management roles when needed.

Pay: $22.28 - $28.46 per hour
