Duties
- Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance clinical services and operational efficiency.
- Oversee staffing schedules, personnel management, and staff supervision to ensure optimal team performance and morale.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure organizational financial goals are met through effective resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards to maintain high-quality care delivery.
- Provide instructional leadership by mentoring nursing staff, facilitating ongoing education, and promoting best practices in patient care.
- Lead organizational initiatives related to quality improvement, patient safety programs, and clinical innovation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery, improve workflows, and foster a positive work environment aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management within a healthcare or educational setting, preferably with experience in a Nursing Home setting.
- Strong background in personnel management in education or healthcare environments with demonstrated team management skills.
- Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational budget management to support operational goals.
- Knowledge of state-specific healthcare regulations relevant to nursing administration.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team building, staff supervision, and organizational development.
- Current RN licensure required; advanced degrees or certifications in healthcare administration are preferred.
