ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a great fit for a recent grad who wants more than a narrow lane. You’ll work across two areas that sit at the core of how we build our product: market research and trend analysis on one side, and production coordination with our overseas manufacturing partners on the other.
We’re starting this position part-time with the intention of moving to full-time as you get up to speed and we scale. If you’re someone who’s eager to learn, takes ownership of their work, and wants to grow with a business, we’d love to talk.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Market Research & Trend Analysis
- Tracking trends across fashion and retail in the US and key EU markets, with a focus on athleisure, activewear, contemporary, and business casual
- Researching competitors: what they’re making, how they’re pricing it, and how they show up at retail
- Helping put together trend reports and visual presentations for the design and product teams
- Monitoring trade publications, social media and stores for emerging signals
- Helping maintain our trend and fabric libraries
Production & Manufacturing Support
- Assisting with day-to-day communication and coordination with our overseas manufacturing partners
- Helping track and maintain production calendars, critical path timelines, and delivery schedules
- Supporting the review and organization of sample comments and revision notes
- Assisting with purchase order tracking and data entry and helping flag any production delays or discrepancies
- Learning how garments move from approved sample through bulk production and into delivery
- Helping maintain organized records across styles, factories, and seasons
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Recent graduate or soon-to-be grad in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Product Development, Business, or a related field
- Genuinely interested in both the trend and operational sides of apparel — curious about the full picture
- Clear, organized communicator — in writing and in keeping details from falling through the cracks
- Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and organizing production data
- Able to put together clean presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Self-motivated and dependable — production timelines don’t have a lot of flexibility
WHAT YOU’LL GET OUT OF IT
- A genuine entry point into the apparel industry with visibility across both the creative and operational sides
- Hands-on experience with overseas manufacturing and production workflows
- A real understanding of how trend research and market analysis connect to product decisions
- Mentorship from people who are invested in your growth — not just your output
- A clear path to full-time as the role and your confidence in it develop
