We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team! Duties
- Safely operate box trucks with automatic transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques or pallet jack
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedule deadlines
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues
- Secure cargo properly using e-track straps and load bars
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members throughout the day
Requirements
- Valid Chauffeur’s License or commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures and safety protocols using a liftgate
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for route planning and documentation
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly
