Job Description
Title: Clinical Lab Scientist – Blood Bank
· Location: Orange, CA
· Contract: 13 weeks
· Start Date: 09/15/2026
· Shift: Nights, 4x10s
· Hours: 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM (may flex to 8:00 PM as needed)
· Local Hourly Pay: $53/hr to $57.50/hr
· Travel Pay breakdown:-
· Taxable w2: $25/hr
· Stipend: $1,500/week
· Weekly Gross: $2,500/week
· Blended Pay: $62.50/hr
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of experience as a CLS
· Recent/current Blood Bank experience within the last 2 years is required
· Seasoned Blood Bank traveler experience required
· ASCP-BB certification required
· Epic experience required
· Experience in a large hospital (300+ beds) required
· Trauma Level I experience required
· Must be comfortable working independently overnight
· Blood Bank software experience required; WellSky/Immucor preferred
· First-time travelers are not accepted
