We have a career opportunity the "public face" and of College Raptor, responsible for educating and evangelizing students, parents, high school counselors and admissions consultants on the benefits of our online and mobile admissions tools.
You'll travel to events, career fairs, and trade shows to build relationships with high school counselors, teachers and administrators, while developing online workshops and webinars to scale your knowledge. You'll work with the Marketing teams, developing online content and guidelines for using the College Raptor site. In addition, you'll work closely with Product teams providing insights into the process and politics of college admissions and financial aid, so we can better serve students and campuses.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a director-level position on a college campus and have a strong understanding of the politics and policies surrounding higher education admissions and financial aid, as well as national trends. We're about to launch a suite of products for students and families as well as campus admissions and financial aid professionals.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to help us improve higher education as part of a small, nimble team that's using technology to solve some of the biggest challenges facing the industry.
What you'll need
Extensive experience and contacts in admissions, enrollment and financial aid roles at a selective college of university.
Strong public speaking skills as well as written communication skills.
Ability to explain complex higher education processes to students and families in simple language.
Comfort serving as a public-facing expert representative and primary evangelist of College Raptor.
Great to have
Work with international students is a plus.
Media relations, interview and video experience.
Experience writing and publishing content for the web.
