We are a modern, patient-centered practice in Corvallis, Oregon. We are looking to add a skilled hygienist to our already amazing dental team. Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus, but not required.
Our opening is for Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm. We are looking for someone who is patient oriented and dependable. We offer competitive pay and benefits and a friendly, relaxed work environment.

Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before and during their hygiene appointment.
- Sterilize dental instruments properly.
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history.
- Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis.
- Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride).
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques).
- Digital x-rays.
- Maintain thorough documentation and charts on each patient.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
- Reliable and outstanding communication skills.
- A calm, patient and friendly personality.
- Attention to detail, thorough and runs on time.
- Valid license to practice.
- Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus, but not required.
