About the Opportunity
A well-established Houston general contractor is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team. This firm self-performs much of its work across commercial, industrial, and residential projects throughout Texas. This is a long-term seat where you'll move from project to project, not a single-project hire that ends when the job does.
This role is right for a PM who wants ownership of their projects, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to make a visible impact at a lean, fast-moving company.
What You'll Do
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Transition across multiple concurrent and successive projects as the company's portfolio demands
- Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and procurement
- Support estimating efforts, including takeoffs, bid preparation, and scope reviews
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, vendors, and field teams
- Track project costs and manage change orders
- Work alongside ownership and the estimating team out of the Central Houston office daily
What We're Looking For
- Hungry, self-driven, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Must be a go getter!
- 2 to 3 years of experience specifically as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects
- Estimating experience (takeoffs, bids, scope development)
- Working knowledge of construction PM and estimating tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Sage, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar platforms)
- A track record of stability and follow-through with previous employers
- OSHA 10 preferred, OSHA 30 a plus (neither required)
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
Work Location: In person
