At La Luz del Camino Legal, PLLC, we fight tirelessly to secure the justice and compensation our clients deserve. We are seeking a high-caliber, battle-tested Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney licensed to practice in Washington, Illinois, and Texas.
As a key member of our remote litigation team, you will take full ownership of a diverse caseload—from catastrophic motor vehicle accidents to complex slip-and-fall cases. This is not a support role; we are looking for a strategic, fierce advocate who prepares every case with a trial-ready mindset, commands the courtroom, and delivers exceptional results for our Spanish- and English-speaking communities.
- End-to-End Case Ownership: Evaluate, strategize, and manage a robust litigation caseload across Washington, Illinois, and Texas jurisdictions.
- Aggressive Advocacy & Negotiation: Negotiate maximum policy-limit settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel; refuse to settle for less than our clients deserve.
- Trial & Courtroom Representation: First-chair hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials when fair settlements cannot be reached.
- Advanced Legal Drafting: Draft, review, and file high-quality complaints, motions, discovery requests, and trial briefs under strict deadlines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to the pre-litigation team to ensure seamless case transitions.
- Compliance & Jurisdictional Expertise: Stay cross-referenced and up-to-date with personal injury statutes, case law, and civil procedures in WA, IL, and TX.
- Bar Admission: Active, good-standing Bar license in Washington (WA), Illinois (IL), AND Texas (TX). (Multi-state licensure is critical for this role).
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of dedicated plaintiff personal injury litigation experience. Proven track record of taking cases to trial/verdict.
- Language: Full professional fluency Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal). You must be able to confidently advise clients and negotiate in both languages.
- Tech-Savvy & Remote-Ready: Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads independently in a fast-paced, 100% remote environment using modern case management software.
- Metrics-Driven: Comfortable working within structured processes and achieving specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding case resolutions and client satisfaction.
- Deep, unyielding passion for civil justice and guiding injured clients through their legal journey.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize deadlines.
