Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service experiences, keeping our customers’ vehicles in top condition. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive axles.
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and realignments to ensure proper handling and safety.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical system troubleshooting and repairs.
- Service and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety features.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair progress clearly with customers.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration and vehicle transmission system repair.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including diesel engine repair and vehicle systems troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation, alignment procedures, and suspension system repair techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Technical proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment for repairs.
