Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and Merchandising Tortilla Route Specialist! Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles along designated routes to deliver tortillas and related products to retail locations and customers.
- Load, unload, and organize product inventory with precision, ensuring proper handling of heavy items through safe lifting techniques.
- Conduct routine route checks to verify product pricing, placement, and display standards while maintaining attractive merchandising displays.
- Engage with customers professionally to answer questions, promote upselling opportunities, and provide exceptional service that encourages repeat business.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during the day.
- Assist in store merchandising efforts by organizing products on shelves and ensuring compliance with branding guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries within tight timeframes.
- Prior experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus; a customer service-oriented mindset is essential.
- Military experience involving route driving or logistics is considered an asset.
