American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Longview, TX, requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and night shift availability.

Work setting is a hospital-based Emergency Care Center (ECC)

Night shift schedule: 8PM–8AM
-
13-week contract
-
Active TX or compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
-
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required; current role must be in an ED setting (e.g., freestanding ER, ER code, ER urgent care)

BSN preferred

US Social Security Number required for consideration

2 professional references required for consideration

Provides routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation

Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors for side effects and treatment effectiveness

Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families

Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
-
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers

New hire orientation required within the first 30 days, including organizational and ED-specific competency validation with a designated preceptor

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted unless the position explicitly states otherwise
