This position requires a rotating on call 24/7
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restoration Lead Technician to oversee restoration projects involving water, fire, mold, contents, and storm damage. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage crews, ensure high-quality workmanship, communicate effectively with customers, and maintain safety and industry standards throughout every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial job sites.
- Oversee and perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, and content handling.
- Oversee and perform controlled demolition of materials
- Oversee and perform contents handling when needed
- Accurately and effectively complete all work as needed according to work order, estimate, and or protocol.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment and document moisture readings.
- Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, IICRC guidelines, and safety regulations.
- Communicate project updates with customers, office staff, and project managers.
- Complete daily job documentation, including work authorizations, photos, daily logs, moisture maps, and equipment tracking.
- Train and mentor new technicians while promoting a positive team environment.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and inventory.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response services.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum 3 years in a lead technician role
· Experience using moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, and restoration software.
· Experience with Encircle, PSA, and MICA preferred
· Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
· Strong communication skills
· Valid TXDL (do not apply if you do not have a valid Texas DL). Must have a good driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Ideal Experience but not required:
· IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or equivalent)
· OSHA Safety Certifications
· Construction Experience
