Position Overview:
Hotel ZaZa Dallas is searching for a charismatic, fast‑paced Pool Bartender to deliver elevated service and craft crave‑worthy cocktails. You’ll be the face of the ZaZa vibe poolside—mixing signature drinks, reading the crowd, and creating the kind of memorable moments that keep guests coming back to ZaZa. This is a seasonal role that supports peak pool operations; weekend and holiday availability are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Craft & Serve Signature Cocktails: Prepare classic and ZaZa‑signature beverages with speed, precision, and style, maintaining recipes, presentation, and responsible alcohol service.

Pool Deck Operations: Manage a high‑volume, open‑air bar efficiently—stock, set, and break down stations; coordinate with Dragonfly for poolside bites; support cabana and lounge service flow as needed.

Sales & Hospitality Mindset: Drive check averages through suggestive selling of cocktails, shareables, and upgrades while protecting the guest experience.

Compliance & Safety: Rigorously follow TABC and property policies for alcohol service, cash handling, and guest identification; uphold health, sanitation, and pool safety procedures in a busy outdoor environment.

Brand Ambassador: Represent ZaZa’s high‑energy culture and participate in on‑site promotions and pool activations that enhance the guest experience.

1+ year bartending in high‑volume, premium bar, restaurant, resort, or pool environment preferred, strong cocktail knowledge and speed with accuracy.

Valid TABC certification (or ability to obtain prior to start); Food Handler certification per local requirements.

Proven guest‑first mindset with polished communication and a warm, engaging presence consistent with ZaZa’s luxury boutique brand.

Comfortable working outdoors; able to stand/walk for long periods, lift/stock up to ~25 lbs, and maneuver quickly behind a compact bar.

Scheduling: Weekends, evenings, and holidays are required during the pool season to support peak demand.

Reliable cash‑handling and POS skills; collaborative approach with barbacks, servers, and the culinary team to keep the pool awevice running smoothly.
