VIP TRAVEL ATTENDANT- BUS

We are looking for candidates that “break the mold” of typical service providers. Candidates must be outgoing, energetic, focused on customer service, and have a “can-do” attitude. Those candidates hired for this position will provide attendant service to business travelers aboard custom designed, luxury, executive motor coaches providing scheduled service in Texas cities.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Luxury Bus Attendant is responsible for providing an exceptional level of service, safety, and comfort to passengers traveling aboard Vonlane's luxury motor coaches. This role serves as the face of Vonlane and is integral to delivering the first-class experience our passengers expect.

Salary range is hourly and includes overtime pay, bonuses, charter gratuities, etc. Hourly rate starting at $20.00/hr-$21.00/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are considered essential functions of this position.
- Greet passengers professionally at the departure location and create a welcoming boarding experience
- Assist passengers with luggage stowage in the baggage compartment and overhead areas
- Serve light snacks, meals, and beverages to passengers throughout the duration of the trip
- Fulfill passenger requests related to on-board amenities in a timely and courteous manner
- Manage AV system for safety video and the internet
- Ensure the ongoing safety and comfort of all passengers while the vehicle is in motion and during boarding and deboarding
- Restock, clean, and prepare vehicles between trips to maintain Vonlane's standards of presentation
- Suggest process and service improvements to management as appropriate
- Maintain open communication with the driver and crew support throughout each trip
- Provide "over the top" customer service to luxury business travelers at all times
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand and remain on your feet for 6 to 10 hours per day depending on the assigned shift
- Must be able to climb stairs and maintain balance on a moving motor coach
- Must be able to walk up and down the coach aisle repeatedly throughout a shift
- Must be able to lift, carry, and stow objects weighing up to 35 pounds, including passenger luggage and supply inventory
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to restock supplies and amenities in various compartments throughout the coach
- Must maintain sufficient mobility to perform all duties safely within the motor coach environment, including navigating the cabin aisle and accessing the attendant seat, which are subject to specific dimensional constraints of the vehicle
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates entirely within and around a moving luxury motor coach. The employee will be exposed to varying road and weather conditions and must be able to perform all essential functions safely within a confined vehicle environment.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must present a professional appearance at all times in accordance with Vonlane's uniform and grooming standards
- Visible tattoos, facial piercings, multiple ear piercings, upper ear piercings, and extreme hair color or style are not permitted
- Height and weight must be proportionate such that the employee is able to safely navigate the motor coach cabin aisle and occupy the attendant seat without exceeding the specific dimensional constraints of the vehicle
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Competent in Handling difficult situations, problem solving, & complaint resolution
- Able to read and speak english fluently
- Must be available to work Saturdays & Sundays
- Available for alternative work schedules including early mornings and evenings
- Prior 2 years of hospitality, customer service, or luxury service experience
- Background check required
