This position works four 10-hour overnight shifts beginning Monday night, giving employees a consistent three-day weekend each week.
This position involves powder coating steel furniture components while ensuring consistent finish quality, proper coverage, and production efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Powder coating steel laboratory and office furniture components
- Ensuring even, consistent coating and finish quality
- Reading and identifying color indicators and finish requirements
- Selecting and applying proper powder coat colors and finishes
- Operating spray equipment and related paint line tools
- Inspecting products for defects or quality concerns
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Reporting quality or production issues to supervisor
Qualifications:
- Comfortable using spray equipment and hand tools
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow quality standards
