General Manager – Multi-Site Operations
Lead a Growing, Mission-Driven Swim School Organization
Calphin Swim Academy is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee operations across all of our Bay Area locations.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, enrollment growth, customer satisfaction, and team performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across all functions and all locations
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and procedures
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and operational efficiency
- Maintain high standards of aquatic program operations, facility safety, and customer service
Aquatic Program & Operations Management
- Oversee all aquatic programs and ensure consistent, high-quality instruction across all locations.
- Partner with coaching and operations leaders to maintain program excellence, swimmer safety, and curriculum consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, staffing requirements, and operational procedures.
- Monitor pool operations, facility maintenance, and equipment readiness.
- Maintain high standards of facility cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
Sales & Enrollment Growth
- Drive student enrollment and retention
- Monitor lead conversion, customer acquisition, and revenue performance
- Develop strategies to improve sales effectiveness and customer experience
Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional service for all families
- Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally
- Implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate functional managers and department leaders
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture
- Conduct regular performance reviews and leadership meetings
Financial Management
- Manage budgets, labor costs, and key performance metrics
- Analyze business performance and recommend improvements
- Prepare reports for executive leadership
Strategic Planning
- Support expansion initiatives and new program development
- Build partnerships with schools and community organizations
- Identify opportunities to improve operational systems and profitability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of senior management experience in multi-site operations
- Proven success in customer service, sales, and team leadership
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
- Swim school, education, youth programs, or fitness
- CRM and reporting systems
- Marketing and customer acquisition
- MBA degree is preferred
Work Location
This position oversees all Calphin Swim Academy locations, including:
Regular travel between sites is required.
