A medical services organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their OPWDD residential services team in Queens to provide clinical oversight and healthcare support across community-based residential programs.
About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: Approximately 10am to 6pm

Setting: OPWDD IRA Residential Programs
Responsibilities:
-
Provide clinical oversight and nursing support for individuals living in residential programs

Manage medication administration, medical follow-up, and related healthcare documentation
-
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, pharmacies, families, guardians, and care teams
-
Support and train direct care staff on medical procedures and medication administration

Travel between residential sites throughout Queens and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license

Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple residential sites

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Medical-Surgical background

Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Experience in OPWDD, Residential, Community Health, or Case Management settings
