Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team.
Duties
- Operate dry van
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts when required.
- Manage paperwork related to deliveries and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with no restrictions
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving and manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
