Our company is currently has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician. TDC is a custom machine builder that serves industries: Wire & Cable, Food, Automotive, Pharma, others.
Primary Skills
- Critical thinking skills to solve complex challenges on fully integrated production equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is a must.
- Experience in field service work, on-site at customer facilities is a preferred.
- Controls systems (PLC and HMI) experience working with Automation and Controls is a plus but not a requirement.
- Machine debugging ability (mechanical and control system)
Role Requirements:
- The position will require carrying out the duties of the Field Service Department, including machine installation, debugging, and commissioning.
- Ability to work at heights (Ladders, Scissor Lifts).
- Ability to problem solve in the field (with support from site lead)
- Ability to follow layout drawings for machine installation.
- Ability to properly read a Tape Measure.
- Self starter, ability to follow direction from the site lead and execute per their instruction.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Wiling and able to travel to customer locations for machine support. Travel time 60%.
- Must be a team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
