Grassroots Associate, Political Canvasser for Conservative Organization

Join Americans for Prosperity in Colorado as a Grassroots Associate and be part of a community of millions of concerned citizens fighting for freedom, opportunity, and prosperity. Work part-time while making a positive impact in your community.
Responsibilities:
· Engage with fellow Coloradans at doors to promote low taxes, limited government, freedom, and economic opportunity.
· Conduct outreach activities such as DOOR-to-DOOR canvassing in VARIED WEATHER conditions.
· Build and maintain relationships with local partners and supporters.
· Provide regular feedback and updates to Americans for Prosperity CO.
Qualifications:
***Must be located in or nearby to the following CO county: Mesa***
Candidates must be within 30 minutes to the city of Montrose, Grand Junction and surrounding area.
· Passionate about promoting freedom, opportunity, and prosperity.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
(***Must be willing and able to knock doors in VARIED WEATHER conditions for multiple hours per day***).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to work weekends but not always required since you will have flexibility to choose hours. Any day of the week is an option.
· Valid driver's license.
Pass background check
Must be available to work minimum 15-20 hour per week. More hours available depending on staffing limits. Max 39.5 hours per week. If you already have a full-time job please do not apply.
***Must have a working vehicle for daily use : mandatory. No public transport or rides.***
· High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Benefits:

- Do you have any issue with having conversations in the community promoting freedom-oriented, limited government, low tax policies and candidates?
- Can you commit to working part-time for a minimum of 15 hours a week? Do you have a reliable car?
- Do you live within 15-30 minutes of and will you be able to travel to Grand Junction? Montrose and Delta are secondary options but our biggest need is Grand Junction.
