Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing problems
- Perform plumbing repairs and replacements
- Install and repair water heaters
- Troubleshoot sewer and drain problems
- Install and replace plumbing fixtures
- Repair water and gas piping
- Diagnose and repair leaks
- Perform plumbing inspections
- Present customers with repair and replacement options
- Clearly explain recommendations to customers
- Complete accurate job documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform work safely and according to applicable plumbing codes
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating completion of apprenticeship or extensive field experience
- Can diagnose and complete service calls independently
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Communicates professionally with customers
- Is dependable, motivated and accountable
- Has a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Works well as part of a team
- Wants to increase their skills and earning potential
