Our client, a leading provider of building engineering services, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting various locations around Tampa, including Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, adaptability, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician
Location: Tampa, FL (Mobile position covering Tampa and surrounding areas)
Pay rate: $34/hr
What's the Job?
- Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections of interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems.
- Utilize technical tools and systems such as apps, phones, and iPads to document work and update records in real time.
- Support energy-efficient and safe operation of all equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
What's Needed?
- Proficient in HVAC commercial applications with at least four years of technical experience in building engineering.
- Valid driver’s license required; ability to store a commercial van at your property.
- EPA Universal License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
