As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our operations across multiple cleaning contracts in Southern Maine. You'll ensure our high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are met consistently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple client sites within Southern Maine.
- Ensure that all cleaning services comply with contractual agreements and internal standards.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of supervisors and cleaning staff to achieve operational excellence and performance targets.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance management to develop a skilled and efficient workforce.
- Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling cleaning services.
- Quality Assurance
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure cleaning services consistently meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Resource Management
- Manage resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure all cleaning operations comply with health and safety regulations and best practices, taking proactive measures to minimize risks.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Generate regular reports on operational performance, financial metrics, and client feedback, using data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the cleaning or facilities management industry is required.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with an ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cleaning operations, quality control processes, and health and safety regulations is essential.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred, relevant experience considered for the right attitude and aptitude candidate.
- Relevant certifications in cleaning management, health and safety, or similar areas are advantageous.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
