This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Representative role based in Leeds, Alabama. The Insurance Sales Representative will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess insurance needs, explain policy options, and recommend appropriate coverage across personal and commercial lines. Daily activities include generating and following up on leads, scheduling appointments, preparing quotes, and processing new policies, renewals, and policy changes. The role involves providing ongoing customer service, handling inquiries and billing questions, and assisting clients with claims-related matters in coordination with internal teams. The Insurance Sales Representative will also maintain accurate records in the agency management system, meet sales and retention goals, and participate in community or networking events to expand the client base.
Qualifications:
- Proven skills in Insurance Sales and Sales, with the ability to identify client needs and match them with appropriate insurance solutions.
- Knowledge of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices, including policy structures, coverage options, and regulatory considerations.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, active listening, and solution-oriented support.
- State insurance license (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe), in line with Alabama regulatory requirements.
- Comfort working in a goal-driven environment, with the ability to manage a pipeline, prioritize tasks, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or agency management systems for documenting interactions and managing client information.
- High level of professionalism, ethical judgment, and reliability when handling confidential client information and financial matters.
- Preferred: Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or related sales roles; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
