Our client, a leading public works organization, is seeking a Stormwater Manager to join their team. As a Stormwater Manager, you will be part of the Department of Public Works supporting stormwater management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$90000 - $201000
What's the Job?
- Manage, plan, coordinate, and direct all aspects of the Town’s stormwater management program.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including MS-4 permits and industrial SWPPPs.
- Oversee design, construction, and maintenance of stormwater-related projects in collaboration with other departments and external agencies.
- Develop procurement documents, manage consultants and contractors, and oversee project execution.
- Engage with the public through education, outreach, and responding to drainage issues and inquiries.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science/Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in stormwater management and MS-4 permitting.
- At least three (3) years of managerial or supervisory experience.
- Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) certifications, including Stormwater Management Combined Administrator.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
