The Foundry role is responsible for supporting daily operations within a manufacturing foundry environment, including the production and handling of metal castings. This position involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where employees may assist with tasks such as operating equipment, preparing molds, pouring and finishing castings, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role requires the ability to perform physical work, follow detailed instructions, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

your challenge
o Perform assigned tasks and additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
o Maintain cleanliness of charge bucket pit, Bond Bin deck, around sort table area, and under knife gate.
o Must be able to operate wheelabrator.
o Must be able to maintain a steady pace of picking castings off the sort table.
o Move and handle castings, gates and cut off as directed.
o Must be able to determine the difference between good and defective casting.
o Must be able to operate cut-off saw in a safe manner.
o Follow all safety rules, procedures, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
requirements
o Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
o Knowledge of safety checkpoints and ability to follow safety procedures.
o Understanding of quality policy requirements.
o Ability to follow established tagging procedures.
o Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, climb stairs, and use hands/arms effectively.
o Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally and perform frequent pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
o Strong communication skills to interact effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
o Reliable and excellent attendance record.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

work environment
This position is based in a manufacturing foundry environment that is fast-paced and team-oriented. The role requires working in conditions that may include high temperatures, elevated noise levels, and exposure to dust or fumes. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. The position involves physical activity such as standing for extended periods, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks. compensation and benefits
This role offers competitive rates and will observe our company’s 12 paid holidays, generous paid time off and competitive full suite benefits package.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
