Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator II, the Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor), supervises functions performed by professional, technical and clerical staff in the maintenance, reporting, and accountability of expenditures for the department.

This CDFA work location is near restaurants, coffee shops, and a farmer’s market. We are within walking distance of light rail/public transportation, across the street from beautiful Capitol Park, and two miles from Downtown Commons (DOCO).

The incumbent works in a setting with workstations and private offices. The incumbent will have an office equipped with modular furniture, a phone, and a computer with various desktop programs. A printer is located outside of the office. The office is also equipped with an adjustable roller chair, file drawer cabinets that roll, stationary file drawers, and a desktop of standard height. The Financial Services office area is equipped with three photocopying machines and a fax machine. Files with shelves are located throughout the office. The maximum height of the files is approximately six feet.
This position may/may not be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the CDFA and based on the current telework policy. While the CDFA supports telework where possible, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the Department.
