Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for guests.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory to ensure all necessary materials are available for daily operations.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks as needed, including training new staff members.
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is an asset.
- Proficiency in floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or hotel settings is advantageous but not required.
