Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ABA/RLT/<PERSON> Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based behavioral therapy to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your primary focus will be implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting and analyzing behavioral data, and supporting clients in developing essential life skills. Duties
- Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles tailored to each client's needs.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and functional skills development.
- Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Implement individualized care plans designed by licensed behavior analysts or supervisors, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
- Support clients during home-based or school-based sessions, fostering skill acquisition in natural settings.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior management strategies, and client communication logs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including special education professionals and medical staff—to ensure comprehensive care for individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders.
Qualifications
- Certification as an ABA Therapist, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Licensed RBT/<PERSON> Therapist is required; relevant experience is highly valued.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis techniques, behavior management strategies, and data collection methods.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Prior experience in home-based behavioral therapy or school settings is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities through patient care, teaching, and behavior support interventions.
