We are seeking an energetic and visionary leader to serve as the Director of a dynamic Childcare Center. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote developmental milestones and foster creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional growth.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand program offerings, enhance educational quality, and strengthen community partnerships.
- Manage the center’s budget effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining high standards of care and education.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members to ensure a motivated team aligned with the center’s mission and values.
- Oversee daily operations including enrollment processes, compliance with licensing requirements, health and safety protocols, and parent communication.
- Lead fundraising efforts to support program enhancements, facility improvements, and scholarship opportunities for families in need.
- Serve as the primary public speaker for the center, advocating for early childhood education within the community and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in education administration or childcare management with a focus on early childhood development.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development tailored to various age groups and learning styles.
- Extensive supervisory experience managing teams of educators or childcare professionals.
- Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and fundraising activities within an educational or nonprofit setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, collaborate with diverse teams, and communicate effectively with families and community partners.
- Classroom teaching experience or working directly with young children is highly desirable to inform program oversight.
