Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, the Staff Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapies and enhance patient outcomes. Position is Part time 1-2 days per week. Applicant must pass a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
- Monitor patient medication regimens for safety and efficacy, making recommendations as needed.
- Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and patient profiles.
Qualifications
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Computer RX Pharmacy software is a plus.
- Non-Sterile Compounding exposure helps but not requited.
