We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Post Funder to join our Lending team.
Duties
What You’ll Do
As a Post Funder, you’ll be the final quality checkpoint in the lending process — ensuring every funded loan is accurate, compliant, and ready for seamless servicing. Your work protects the bank from risk, supports regulatory compliance, and ensures our borrowers’ experience ends on a high note.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify Funding Packages – Review all executed loan documents after funding to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Loan Files – Confirm that all required signatures, dates, and disclosures are present; identify and resolve any missing or incorrect documentation.
- Coordinate with Closing & Funding Teams – Communicate with loan officers, processors, closers, and settlement agents to resolve post-closing discrepancies quickly.
- Prepare & Ship Loan Files – Organize and deliver complete, compliant loan packages to internal servicing teams within required timelines.
- Manage Collateral Documents – Track, log, and forward original notes, mortgages, and security instruments to the appropriate custodians or agencies.
- Update Loan Systems – Enter final post-funding data into the bank’s loan origination or servicing systems, ensuring accurate reporting and recordkeeping.
- Clear Post-Closing Conditions – Work with internal and external partners to satisfy any outstanding conditions required by regulators.
- Support Compliance & Audit Requests – Provide documentation and respond to inquiries during internal audits, or regulatory examinations.
- Maintain Loan File Integrity – Ensure secure handling of sensitive borrower information in accordance with privacy laws and bank policy.
- Identify Process Improvements – Recommend workflow enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround times in the post-fund
Pay: $26.44 - $33.65 per hour
