We are seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to
join our busy medical practice. This is a patient-facing position that works closely with
our physicians and staff to provide high-quality patient care and maintain an efficient
clinical environment.

This position is full-time and onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM. We are not considering part-time or seasonal applicants at this time.

Essential Responsibilities
● Perform blood draws, venipuncture, and routine specimen collection
● Properly label, handle, and prepare specimens for processing
● Room patients and accurately obtain and document vital signs
● Assist physicians and clinical staff in maintaining an efficient flow of patients
throughout the office
● Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting
with patients
● Answer phone calls and assist with scheduling appointments
● Accurately enter, update, and maintain patient information within electronic
medical systems
● Assist with routine administrative and clerical responsibilities
● Maintain accurate and organized patient records
● Maintain strict patient confidentiality
● Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, staff
members, and outside parties
● Work collaboratively with multiple physicians and staff members while also being
able to complete responsibilities independently
● Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED
● Previous experience working in a physician's office, medical practice, or other
healthcare settings in a relevant capacity
● Current phlebotomy certification with demonstrable proficiency
○ 1 year minimum of phlebotomy experience preferred
● Basic computer skills
● Strong communication, time management, and organization skills
● Excellent customer service skills and a high level of professionalism
● Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical practice with multiple physicians
● Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient and practice information
This position requires the ability to work full-time at both our Northfield and Winnetka,
Illinois offices.
