Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Architect/Project Manager to join our dynamic construction and design team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of architectural projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Architecture management, project scheduling, and blueprint reading, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality. Duties
- Lead the development and management of project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including design coordination, contract administration, and site supervision.
- Prepare and review construction estimates using HeavyBid and other estimating tools to establish accurate budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
- Manage contract negotiations, review agreements, and oversee adherence to contractual obligations.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard software for project documentation, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits regularly to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and resolve onsite issues promptly.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that incorporate scope definition, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and timeline milestones.
- Support project closeout activities including documentation compilation, punch list completion, and client handover.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Architect or Project Manager within the construction or architectural industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction estimating using HeavyBid or similar tools.
- Strong background in project scheduling and coordination across multiple disciplines.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical specifications.
- Hands-on construction site experience is highly desirable to ensure practical understanding of field operations.
- Experience managing contracts and navigating legal aspects related to construction projects.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, consultants, and team members. Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
