Seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join our team as a Construction Superintendent. Our company works on commercial construction projects, so you MUST be familiar with construction of commercial buildings such as offices, warehouses, retail, mixed use buildings, etc. Excellent communication skills are required to efficiently work with vendors and subcontractors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with all building, safety, and governmental regulations
- Willing and able to work with vendors and subcontractors on each job
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Must be able to plan and work within deadlines
- Must ensure that work corresponds with blueprints, and monitoring safety and compliance
- Must be able to communicate daily with main office about daily progress including Daily Logs / Photos / Schedules / Weekly Outlooks
- Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects
Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to read and understand construction drawings/architectural plans
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with construction practices and procedures
- Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when addressing customers, clients or official visitors to the jobsite
- The ability to communicate clearly; Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
