Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with hair styling, coloring, and finishing touches using current trends and techniques.
- Perform hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and basic makeup applications to enhance client looks.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations.
- Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Support store management with front desk duties including check-in/check-out procedures and appointment confirmations.
- Engage in retail sales by upselling products like hair care items, styling tools, and retail merchandise to boost revenue.
- Participate in mentoring sessions to refine your skills in hair threading, barbering techniques, and store operations.
Qualifications
- Passionate about beauty services with a strong interest in hair styling, coloring, and customer care.
- Basic knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and sanitation practices preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to multitask efficiently at the front desk while maintaining attention to detail during service delivery.
- Willingness to learn new techniques including straight razor shaving, hair threading, and retail upselling strategies.
