We are seeking a motivated, self-driven 1099 Independent Contractor Field Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities for our commercial and residential cleaning company. This role is responsible for prospecting, networking, building relationships, conducting in-person sales presentations, and securing new service agreements within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented sales professional who thrives in a commission-based environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new commercial and residential cleaning accounts through cold calling, door-to-door outreach, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Identify decision-makers and present customized cleaning solutions that meet customer needs.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and consultations to prepare accurate service recommendations.
- Generate and follow up on leads to close new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and referral partners.
- Negotiate service agreements and pricing within company guidelines.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals.
- Track sales activities, leads, appointments, and closed business using the company’s CRM or reporting system.
- Stay informed about company services, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in outside sales, B2B sales, service sales, or related field preferred.
- Experience selling janitorial, facility maintenance, home services, or cleaning services is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Basic proficiency with email, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Compensation
- 1099 Independent Contractor
